Designing after COVID19

Designing after COVID19

I've changed my business completely

Since lockdown I have kind of reset my home and work life to help me become a bit happier and in control of my life.

It's scary but I am 100% sure it will be for the better!

"I just wanted to design badass stuff for nautical type outlets and companies, while doing what I can to help our seas and environment."

So, here is the plan...I'm dumping the corporate branding game I have spent the last 10 years involved in and intend to design beautiful works for clients that align with my current business model. I've ben in lockdown for 19 weeks now as I am high risk and waiting on a heart op in London that was cancelled when Covid19 hit. Most of my freetime is taken up volunteering as a lifeboat press officer for the RNLI and I am passionate about our coastal communities, seas and beaches.

With that in mind I have decided to build my graphic design company around a marine based culture. I want to design for restaurants, bars, nautical and coastal businesses of any kind. Any money this business makes will have a percentage taken out and donated to British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) .bdmlr.org.uk out and i am a member of the Surfers Against Sewage 250 club in which small businesses can donate £250 or more annually to assist in the great work they do.

Apart from that rest assured that I am very aware of how I purchase and what my company purchases for clients, printed media used is all sustainable ink, papers, cards etc as is the clothing I will be offering in the near future with some of my sea saving designs on them.

I want to meet and get to know as many businesses as possible whether you buy from me or not, I may need to buy from you to avoid using long distance suppliers and adding to the amount of vans on the road. i am very local oriented and love to help companies old and new.
